In anticipation of your arrival, we have reserved several nearby camps in advance for Wednesday, August 5 – Wednesday, August 12. These one-of-a-kind waterfront properties all have kitchens and full bathrooms, indoor plumbing, heat, maybe an AC unit, probably at least one fan and several screen doors, definitely a roof, loads of books and classic games, fire pits, docks, big rocks, tall trees, stunning views and sleep anywhere from 4-12 people, all in very close proximity to the great outdoors of Northern Maine. Most even have TV, internet, and laundry facilities.
There is no way for us to guarantee a private room for every guest, but we are pretty damn close.
Currently we are working with the following camps, at a rate of $50/night per person:

We think it could suit you. But in case it doesn’t, there are further options –
Cozy log cabins with private bathrooms and campsites for RVs are available nearby at Balsalm Woods, although we have not reserved any in advance.
Hotels exist in Greenville, Maine. Traveling to Whetstone from Greenville takes approximately 45 minutes. Blocks are not being reserved.
Naturally, pitching an actual tent is always welcome. This could be arranged for Whetstone, or you could reserve a site at Balsalm Woods, or beyond.
